Called to ask if they delivered, lady was very pleasant on the phone, made sure all my information was correct. When I gave my order, she understood it and let me know exactly how much everything would be and that it wouldn't take too long. 7-8 minutes later they showed up with my food... everything was delicious from the egg roll, to the sesame chicken, even the fried rice (which I never eat) was very tasty! Great first experience with the restaurant, and the fast service is exactly what a person who's always in the fast lane of life, like myself, needs when ordering delivery. 5/5
My family has gotten takeout from Shanghai for many years, and while the results have been a little variable for specific dishes, we've always very much enjoyed them, and Shanghai remains our go-to. Last night my wife and I were especially wowed by two of the 4 dishes we got: Chicken Pad Thai and Kung Pao Chicken. Both were incredibly bright and flavorful, probably the best we've ever had here or anywhere. Will definitely try those again soon to see if this is a consistent result! The other 2 dishes were also excellent: General Tao's Chicken had large, very gently breaded chunks of chicken breast and plenty of tangy sauce, while the Chicken Singapore Rice Noodles -- our first time trying this -- was slightly salty but loaded with chicken and egg, mild curry flavor, and those wonderful thin noodles. All portions were very generous and will provide leftovers for at least a couple more meals. We were so impressed with the entire order that we called the restaurant to let them know. The owner was appreciative and, as always, so pleasant. I asked the name of whoever prepared the food and she told me it was Mr. Xu, and that he is always the cook. I will remember that! I'm always happy to give this family-run restaurant our business, and today a 5-star review for particularly outstanding dishes.

Frankly I am very surprised about this restaurant. The atmosphere is very old school chinese restaurant feel, service was good, and the portion was big! I had yellow curry beef and it was good! Wish I got more rice with that big pot of curry! Would definitely come back to try other food too.

This place has been around for a long time. Used to be Inter China in Oxbridge Square then this became their 2nd location. Not sure if it is still run by Charlie or his family. Originally one of several fancier dine-in Americanized Chinese restaurants in Chesterfield back in the day including Peking and Yen Ching. Haven't eaten here for maybe 20 years but always remembered how much I loved the Honey Shrimp and Honey Chicken. Ordered takeout a couple times recently just to see how the food is. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the food is nearly as good as I remember it as a little kid. The Honey Chicken recipe hasn't changed. Spot on. Worth trying if you haven't before.
